Farkle Scoring Chart and Rule Preset Guide

There is no single universal Farkle scoring chart. Most tables agree that a single 1 scores 100, a single 5 scores 50, and three matching dice score a base amount. Larger combinations vary by house rule.

Common scoring foundation

Three 1s usually score 1,000. Three of another number usually score 100 times the die value, so three 4s score 400. Singles score only when they are 1s or 5s.

A full 1 through 6 straight commonly scores 1,500. Before playing, confirm how the table handles four or more matching dice, three pairs, and partial straights.

  • Single 1: 100
  • Single 5: 50
  • Three 1s: 1,000
  • Three 2s through three 6s: 200 through 600
  • Straight 1 to 6: commonly 1,500

Why presets differ

Classic and folk variants differ most on rare six-dice combinations. One table may award a flat value for four of a kind while another doubles the triple value for every extra matching die.

KCD adds partial straights and uses chained multiples. This changes which dice should be kept and makes advice from a Classic scoring table unreliable for some rolls.

Use the chart that matches the room

Farkle Online labels the selected preset in the lobby and game summary. Open the full rulebook to inspect every combination before the host starts the table.

When teaching new players, start with singles, triples, and Farkles. Introduce special six-dice combinations only when they appear.
